epic header edit

good morning.. ive done a bit of reading on removing the unread posts n new replies text from the header, but cant seem to get it working on the epic theme without those pesky template parse errors.. and it appears theres no search option on this site.. so sorry if this has been answered 42 timnes already.. but any chance i could get a someone to have a look at my index.template.php and help get rid of those couple lines of text? id like to keep the logo and the news items above.. just wanna remove the greeting, unread posts, replies, and time text..

nah just the attachment on your post.. the index.template.php you uploaded is giving a 404 file not fiound error..
