Flagrant?

Hello there. First off, Crips' themes - good stuff, love them. Especially Flagrant, which a friend is running on SMF 2.0 for his hobby forum. And this brings me to my question:

Remove everything from Flagrant header, replace with image?

Is there a simple way to remove all of the text from the header - the "Flagrant" word, the "Hello User", "last posts" and other text, and the Search Bar - and replace them all with a image that takes up the entire header space (the bit that is darkest black)? I know enough about SMF to go in and change bits of code I'm told, but not much more than that.

I've asked for advice from the SMF community website but it didn't apply because the Flagrant code was different in some places and I couldn't figure out what to remove.

Is anyone able to assist me?

Hello again. I have attached a picture showing what he has asked to be removed. The red circles are the sections that need to be gone - search bar, "Flagrant" label, and the text ("Hello Guest", login/password field, date, etc). Inside the green-lined box is is where he would like new header image, occupying the same space as all the removed stuff if this is possible.
