Okay,
Find & Change this:
html { height: 100%; background: #454545; }

To This:
html { height: 100%; background: #000; }

Find & Change this:

/* Set a fontsize that will look the same in all browsers. */
body
{
background: #454545 url(../images/theme/bgbg2.png) repeat-x;
font: 78%/130% "Verdana", "Arial", "Helvetica", sans-serif;
margin: 0 auto;
padding: 0;
}

To This:

/* Set a fontsize that will look the same in all browsers. */
body
{
background: #000 url(../images/theme/bgbg2.png) repeat-x;
font: 78%/130% "Verdana", "Arial", "Helvetica", sans-serif;

i start this search in the index.css?
I will try this tonight...

maybe i edit the wrong page or the edits did not seem to make any changes... well the changes are on the page where i did them, but the site does not appear to have changed, even after refreshing.

ok wow no, none of the changes were saved i think im going to have to edit offline and replace the file instead of editing on the smf admin software

WHEN I click save changes it gives me a white screen and i cant see anything thats why it is not saving for me

Crip

... are your file permissions for css/index.css & index.template.php set at ?  (777)

woohoo!!!

I was not able to use the smf admin tool on the site but using ftp file browser i replaced the index with the changes and woohoo!!!

It looks better.
I want to put my burning letters in the logo space now that the background there will match the logo background. but i need more space... my image that i want to use is Height: 187
Width: 876

I have another screenie here showing  where i want to put it in yellow...

However if the backgrounds in the blocks also get changed to #000, but again im not sure what to look for to change that, then i will not need the space for the logo image...
Hahahaha let me think on what i am saying here...hahahah...

I confuse myself how can i expect you guys to figure me out omg lmao. I think it would look best if i took the logo out of the ezblock and put it above the forums in the space you built into the theme for the logo, but i do need to make more room to do that. I am hesitating on that because i had such bad luck before trying to fit the image how i imagine it.

So if you understood anything i said your way ahead of me allready...and i am going to be content with the way it is now that the main background is black...  Your awesome.... Thank you

Crip
