i was wondering if any of you lovely smart people may be able to help me.

i have installed Jeff's "blazedark" theme, i would like to have a different background as im doing this for our valentines theme, so i have replaced the blazebg.gif with the image i wish to use, but its only showing on half the page.

i looked in the index.css and found this part of the code
{
   background: #000 url(../images/theme/blazebg.gif) top left repeat-x;
   font: 78%/130% "Verdana", "Arial", "Helvetica", sans-serif;
   margin: 0 auto;
   padding: 25px 0;

dont laugh please *S* i know im blonde, but im sure that means its repeating, is that correct?

any tips would be wonderful

thanks in advance.

TRy leaving out the  "repeat-x" and see what happens, if not I may need you URL to the site!

we may have  to do it in percentage

Maxx

i will try that thanks Maxx ....fingers crossed *grins*

I'm sorry my bad,.... you need to put there no-repeat, to replace repeat-x..
remove repeat-x or replace with "repeat" only! I miss read your post!

Maxx

If your background image is a photo, then replace "repeat-x" with "no-repeat" but if it is a gradient or a pattern, try replacing "repeat-x" with just "repeat".
