2Tone question

I absolutely love this theme, but I'm trying to figure out how the menu works. I want to add most of the forum links on the navbar to a single button to reduce clutter, but I can't figure out in index.template.php how to do that, since the names of each button don't seem to be visible. I hope I'm making sense, but I want more in the dropdowns instead of buttons, but I can't find where to change it...and what to do when I find it. Any help would be appreciated!
