Oh, I don't have that type of url for the picture, I just pulled that one off of Dreamweaver using the preview function. Will that matter when adding the logo?

Crip, her logo is in the images directory, found it but does not line up!

Candy can you upload a copy of you logo.gif so I can see what the problem is, or the psd would be best!

maxx

Hi Maxx I'm unable to upload the .psd file, due to forum security issues. Can crip allow a one time upload for me  :) or send me an email and I can send it there... Hey Crip, I can't just adjust the background header to fit the size of the logo as is?

Maxx

Don't worry I think it good now please check it out and let me know!

Yeah, everything is fine now. Silly computers, for some reason I guess it needed to just hangout for a while before it decided to show up properly. Thanks for the incredible level of help!

Maxx

Very welcome! delete my temp pass!

Yes the problem was the url you had was a PC file location, does not work that way and the other was you logo is way big so I had to make space in the CSS code for it!

If you want Crip to update your SMF version to the latest now would be the time before you get to much going on there. You need ask him how much!

Question, I know that the url was the file on my PC, but since it wasn't "up" on the site. I just updated the picture like normal on my FTP server etc. I also adjusted the size of the picture and the header to no avail. I guess it was the name of the url that was causing the problems, but I didn't know where to find it or how to rename it since that usually takes care of itself.

Should I know make sure the file is the same name as on my local directory? I don't want to make further updates and then cause problems with the logo.

Maxx

The trouble was the index.css was referring to your local drive not the file on your server root and the size was way out of the CSS settings for the logo so I had to change both to suite your logo size and location.

But not to worry it you update the SMF version Crip or I can change the logo to match the location. The New RC4 version has better security and many bugs fixes are done. and soon you will not be able to get support for 1.11+ themes from anyone.

Maxx

Crip

RC4 has an Orangeline theme ready to go on SMF 2.0 RC4..

Crip,

Candy's site is very new and will be a breeze to update...The logo is located in the Orangeline/images/logo.gif ( not img file)
and the size is of the logo is pretty big.

I think 182px high and 400 + wide. but it fits if you alter the CSS to fit it!

Maxx
