In my search for more knowledge here I just run into a new problem. i am aware what the problem causes and eventually i may find it all out myself but somehow CZ keep attracting me :)

Well  I ftp a forum on a location lets say www.letsallbefriends.com/czforum/  and i wanted to change it into www.letsallbefriends.com/czbuddiesforum/

What problems may arise...?  I found out myself already that the theme adresses are not right pointing....  and for each problem what is the best solution or whats the best solution overall?

Furthermore another nooby question.....  my forum is online and the database will grow by the posts and so on.....  is that the only thing that will change overtime and thereby the most important to backup?

magyarkhan,

All kinds of things can stop working right if you don't do this right.  Besides what Crip mentioned, you will probably want to grab a file called repair_settings.php.  You can find the file and read about what it does here --> http://docs.simplemachines.org/index.php?topic=663.0

As for what to backup, the database is the most important thing.  I do a backup on that once every 2 days on all my sites and backup the whole site via FTP once every couple of weeks.
